Pisipuu: a children’s furniture website
Beds for
bears, zebras
& small humans
Solid-wood bunk beds, wobble-proof desks and grow-with-me chairs, built by hand and tested by the toughest inspectors we know: actual children.

About
Pisipuu is a small workshop in Tartu where two dads build solid-wood children’s furniture by hand: bunk beds, grow-with-me chairs, first desks and climb-proof shelves.
Challenge
Lovely furniture, but no photos of a finished kids’ room and no budget for an animation studio. Parents needed to picture the beds at home, and their kids needed a reason to stay on the page.
A film with no studio.
We generated a short 3D film set in a Pisipuu bedroom: a bear asleep on the top bunk, a zebra with plans, a cat in mid-air and an elephant who tidies up. It runs as a YouTube ad, and on the site it plays inside a wobbly blob and again inside a little house further down the page.

0:00Nap time. The bear has the top bunk, the zebra has plans.
0:02The cat arrives, mid-air.
0:04The table tips. Blocks everywhere.
0:06An elephant tidies up. Nobody admits anything.

The zebra escaped.
On a computer the cursor turns into a carrot, and the zebra from the film chases it around the page. Let it catch up and you get a “nom nom!”. Phones and tablets skip it, and so does anyone who turns off motion in their settings.

Solution
A page that feels like a toy box: chunky outlines, sticker buttons, a rainbow, drifting clouds and a marquee of everything the workshop makes. The furniture cards tilt like toys on a shelf, the steps from drawing to bedroom follow a dotted trail, and custom orders start with a child’s drawing.

Result
A shop window for a two-person workshop that looks like a studio production, a film that sells the room as much as the bed, and a page kids ask to see again.
